Hostel Shoppe Recumbent Shipping Guidelines Wondering what's involved when you order a bike from us? Here's our guidelines as to what needs to be disassembled for shipping. Please keep in mind, these are just guidelines designed to help you know what to expect when you receive your bike. Due to shipping size constraints and the likelihood of damage, no accessories will be installed on your bike. All bikes will be shipped by BAX Global unless otherwise specified. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench Easy Racers Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Remove front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seat. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches 11mm Metric Box Wrench Pedal Wrench Greenspeed Trikes Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Turn handlebars down. Turn crankset sideways & remove pedals if necessary. Separate frame halves and cable separators on tandem. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench Hase Trikes Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Remove seat and front wheel. Turn handlebars down. Telescope boom in if necessary. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches 10mm Metric Box Wrench HP Velotechnik Bikes Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Remove front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seat. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench HP Velotechnik Trikes Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Turn handlebars down. Turn crankset sideways & remove pedals if necessary. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench RANS SWB Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Remove front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seat. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench RANS LWB Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Remove front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seat. Cable housing is removed from lower stops on handlebar. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench RANS Tandem Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Remove front wheel, handlebars, pedals and seats. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench Volae Number of Boxes: 1 Disassembly: Remove front wheel and pedals. Lay seat back, turn handlebars down and sideways. Tools Needed: Metric Allen Wrenches Pedal Wrench Notes: Attach front wheel, straighten handlebars, adjust seat angle and reach. That's it, really.
