Recumbent bicycles sold in the store or ordered through the website will ship in 1 to 2 weeks if in stock. Backordered items may take longer. Occasionally some items may be backordered (requiring a separate shipment at no charge to you). You will be contacted if there is a delay in shipping your order. Special Order Items? Items not kept in regular stock may be subject to extra shipping charges. How Does Hostel Shoppe Deliver? All orders will be shipped via Standard FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. The Online Ordering system will accept FedEx 2Day as a shipping option for standard accessory orders (see rate chart below). Oversized items will incur additional charges and will not be available for 2Day online ordering - please call for exact shipping charges. Overnight, 2nd Day and 3rd Day shipping options are available via phone. FedEx 2Day orders placed on Thursday or Friday will not be delivered until Monday or Tuesday. Saturday and Sunday do not count as shipping days. For example: Order placed on Thursday; Friday=Day 1; Monday=Day 2. Order placed on Friday: Monday=Day 1; Tuesday=Day 2. Minimal or no reassembly required. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii cannot be transported by FedEx Ground. Typically, US Parcel Post is the most economical method for accessory shipments, and FedEx 2Day is available. All bikes to Alaska or Hawaii will be sent via BAX Global. Accessory shipments to Canada by FedEx Ground, 2Day or Express Saver are available at regular FedEx rates plus a handling charge. Canadian residents are responsible for any duties or taxes. Charges may vary based on the size and/or weight of the item. APO/FPO orders are shipped via insured US Mail. Call, email or use our International Order Form for orders outside the 48 Contiguous States or APO/FPO addresses. International Shipments are handled by US Parcel Post, FedEx, Bax Global or Airborne Express - whichever is most economical and reliable for your location. Unused, non-defective apparel, parts and accessories may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for exchange or refund*. Simply use the easy return form supplied with your order (or click here to download a PDF form). If you have any questions, please call our toll free number (800-233-4340). We will need to know the puchase date of the item, the reason for return, and your name and order number. Be sure to include a copy of your receipt so that you will be credited the proper amount. Return shipping costs are the purchaser's responsibility. Hostel Shoppe will refund shipping costs of any merchandise sent in error. Recumbent Bicycle Returns If any recumbent bike purchased from the Hostel Shoppe proves unsatisfactory, you may return it (using the same shipping materials) within two weeks of the delivery date. You will be charged 5% of the purchase price of the bike as a rental/demo fee and we will refund the balance of the bike, less any damage assessments, to you. You will be responsible for freight charges both ways. We will refund half the price of any accessories used during the two-week test period. * This guarantee only applies to US residents in the contiguous 48 states. Return guarantee applies to stock configurations only - highly customized or modified bikes are not returnable. Accessories purchased with your bike are returnable for full value only if unused and uninstalled. Due to Federal regulations, our shipper cannot pick up from a residential address, so your returned bike must be taken to a business address for pick up. Defective Merchandise? In the unfortunate event that you receive a potentially defective item, please contact us before sending the item back. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, immediately notify us before returning the item so we may contact the shipper. All parcels are insured and the shipper's policy is to send a representative to your home to inspect the damage and packaging. Remember to keep your original packaging! We reserve the right to make changes, discontinue or add merchandise, update prices, alter specifications and modify delivery procedures when necessary and without notice. We also reserve the right to make mistakes and will not be held liable for typos, misprints or incorrect information. Fraud Guarantee Details: Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, and if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at the Hostel Shoppe's website while using the secure server, Hostel Shoppe will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
